Good afternoon all,
We got here on Monday morning, and the fiendish jetlag is only just subsiding. I was awake at 5 this morning, and went for a long run (one of those statements is a lie).
It's been interesting - so far, we've heard the American ambassador to the UK speak about democracy (not sure he was qualified), seen the Eton beagles scamper about the College, had a vegetarian lunch in Richmond and marvelled at the paintings on the Chapel here that date back to 1440. Standard stuff, really.
Most importantly of all, I have seen my Mummy and Daddy! It had been a while, so it's been lovely to catch up on their ailments. I joke! They're not that old. Yet.
This being an introductory blog, I'll keep it short - don't want to lose the audience to boredom so early in the piece. Next stop, Slough! That'll keep them coming for more...
Chris and RuthWe met Ruth and Justin in Santiago de Chile, then met up again in Salta, where we got trolleyed.
Photo 5Us, our friend Kate and lots of pixels.
SidIf you don't get this reference, watch Ice Age at once!
Eek!A little too excited about the changing of the guard...

Yay vegetarian lunch in Richmond (or anywhere). We-at-the-manse are happily living off Mon's leftover kremelta turned into crumble. Friday night yoga is approaching - are you and Mon and your parents ready to hit Eton with some downward facing dog? I like your pictures and the fact that you seem to be having a good time!
