Poland - Ukraine

Day 14

Didn't really sleep much, wandereed around all night then headed to the shopping centre early in hope it was open so i could get some clean clothes but it was sunday so not open til 10.. Headed to the police staion a bit early which seemed to piss them off ooppss....
Managed to get my statement done and a ref number for my insurance by 12..

Only had an hour before our train left so quickly tried to grab a few bits including a new bag and ws ready and packed so agreed to meet Pete and Adelle outside the front of the train station to get our train.. waited and waited and by this time our train had gone, turned out they'd got lost???? I have no idea how and so we had to wait til the next one.. I think Pete was just over tired and a bit aggitated as this seemed to really get him down although the next train was in 20 minutes!!

We got the next train had to change in a small town called Pryzemysl and then board the slower train to Ukraine, it was a really small carriage with a 3 person bunk bed?!

After about an hour we were woken by Ukrainian army passprt control people which were very abrupt and questioned us on who we were and where we were going a little scary!!

Day 15

Arrived in Lviv (Lvov as they say) at around 12 and got a cab to one of the hotel/hostels in our book only to find it was pretty snazzy and not really what we were use to.. THe book lied the price was completely different as was the hotel itself so we quickly exited and went to Hotel Lviv a much more our rice place it looked like a tower block of flats and the romms were pretty basci the doors would probably have opened with the smallest of knocks!! But for 8quid a night i werent complaining.. Went straight to bed.. The sheets were satin yuck so i slept in my sleeping bag and the curtains velour?!

Had a nice lie in today which was rudely awoken by a knock at the door tried to ignore it as i thought it was probably the cleaner (it was around mid day) they kept knocking so i got up.. It was Pete.. What the hell what do you want ?? He seemed shocked!! Why the hell was he awake its been our only chance for a lie in te whole time weve been travelling.... After shutting the door on him i finally rose from my pit at around 2 ish and we wandered the town..

It wasn't as beautiful as the book had explained it but it was raining the whole time.. Went to a few bars a fiver a bottle of wine SWEET!! Headed to an Irish bar as Pete wanted to see spurs (they suck) so i went back to my room.. (they lost)..
