Switzerland
The breathtaking view across the swiss alps in Lauterbrunnen. We were up early again ready to take the train up the Jungfrau mountain. We walked through the village and arrived around 30min early so we decided to have a quick look around the small town. A few of us searched for the Swiss army knife shop and had a quick look before it was time to head back and get the train. We jumped aboard and slowly began climbing up the massive mountain. The views on the way up were breathtaking, it was hard to believe I was actually seeing these beautiful snow top mountains. We made our first stop at a small village where we changed trains and once again slowly headed to the top. The landscape got better and better it was an incredible sight. As we ascended the Jungfrau I took some amazing photos of the surrounding mountains.
As we continued up the mountain we went inside a tunnel and eventually came to a lookout stop. There were large windows facing out towards the mountain side which were originally used to remove rock while building the tunnel for the train. We stopped for 5 minutes while and quickly got out to take some spectacular photos. We

The small town of Lauterbrunnen, surrounded in mountains. rushed back into the train and continued upwards. It was at this time we started to really notice how cold it was getting, we were getting close. We stopped again for another lookout point for 5 minutes then rushed back into the train and continued to the highest train station in Europe. We finally made it to the top and quickly made our way outside to the snow covered peak. It was beautiful, a breathtaking sight. However clouds were beginning to come and it was difficult to see much of the landscape.
We went to an ice museum which had all different sculptures and displays made out of ice. We carefully made our way around the different rooms trying not to fall over as it was really slippery, but still most of us fell on our ass. As you walked around we were always feeling really tired and sometimes even a little nausea, it was due to the fact we were so high up that sometimes you may suffer from altitude sickness. Afterwards we decided to make for the dog sleigh rides on the other side of the complex. But after finally finding where they were, they were cancelled

Amazing landscape in Switzerland on the way up the Jungfrau. Lauterbrunnen is in the valley below due to the bad weather coming in. Instead, some of us grabbed a toboggan and slid out a small slope for a while until our hands and faces were numb. Hannah and I had a cup of tea, which was amazing in the freezing cold, then we all headed back to the café for more warm drinks. We each had a cup of hot chocolate which was incredibly good, I now know why they say Swiss chocolate is so good. We sat down and struggled to sty awake, the altitude was making us really tired, they were people sleeping all over the place.
Finally it was time to head back down, we jumped in the massive queue and eventually boarded the train back down the mountain. We were all falling asleep on the train ride back down, we were so tired. As we came down through the clouds it was pouring rain, absolutely throwing it down. We changed trains again and eventually made it back to the bottom. We had a quick look around some of the stores again and walked back to the campsite in the pouring rain, we were freezing. Hannah and I got back into our

After dinner we had some drinks and some of us played a strange game where you had to hammer a nail into a massive log. We drank and played that game for hours and hours it was so much fun. I stumbled back to the tent and passed out late that night.
