Today it isn't raining too bad so I caught a train to the nearby town of grindelvald so that I could check out the waterfalls and caves I have heard about here.

The caves are actually part of a man made path carvedoin to the side of an enormous slab of limestone or Alpine chalk, whatever you prefer to call it. The water from the White Lutschine roars, drowning out all other noises.

There's a big adventure race going to happen this week, so this hostel is teeming with racers and staff. It is called the apex race if you are interested in following along. I'm rooting for the Kiwis!
