Maria kyrkaBig church in the city, directly across the street from where Marcus works. Look! Snow!
Just as we'd all given up on snow and started pulling the spring clothes out, winter decided to show it's icy face in this lovely little area of the world. So we've gone from the warmest january on record to the first white easter weekend!
I don't know how to begin to describe the amazing weather we've been having this week! Monday daytime gave us a horizontal display of snowstorm, by night it had settled down to those pretty big fat snowflakes. Then since tuesday we've been having clear, brilliant blue skies through the day and snow at night. The forecast for the next few days shows the same sort of conditions with temps of +1, +1, -2, -1. Whoop-dee-doo! Today is a grey day and I've just popped the fridge thermometer outside, so we'll see what the temp is in a minute.
Still going to school, swedish is going quite well actually, but I'm still to shy to use it very much - plus they don't really teach slang, so it still takes a minute to understand people when they speak too quick! Although I've been seeing quite a bit of it lately, I still LOVE watching the
ParkIt's so amazing how so much snow packs itself on to tiny skinny little branches.
snow, and can sit at the window for ages. I've almost completely stopped bumping my head on the double-paned windows when I go to look outside, they're very deceptive.
Yes, of course I'm missing everyone very much, and I can't wait to have some visitors!! Oh and we're planning to hopefully visit Australia maybe the first half of next year, so that'll be great! (psh - let's see if I can get a job!)
The sun's just come out and it's a grand +2 degrees.
Swede in Natural HabitatSurprisingly enough, the snowball in his hands wasn't destined for my head. Marcus is saying 'Do you think I can hit that from here?'
Next morningTiny little icicles! oh... and some sort of green muck under the rails on our balcony.
