Heading back down south more and the next city on the stop is Orebro. Pretty much a uni city and where I was staying in the middle of it all really and since it was the first week for the new year here in Sweden it is party time! I still managed to have a good look around the city though and the old castle that looks like it is floating on water would have to be the hightlight of this place. Another highlight would have to been to foreign exchange students trying to make this cake where I was staying. All the exchange students from the uni are put in grounps of around 8 and are set chanenges and this night was cake making night. The dude of the couple that I was staying with is called a ´father´and he is in charge of his ground and thats why they were around baking. Of course beer was vodka was involved and somehow we all ended up in another building having a party but very good fun though.. There is quite a lot to see around Orebro and there is rivers running all through the city, down where the rivers enter
the big lake there are really old buildings dating back several hundred years and that is also very good to look around.
Next city was Gothenburg the second largest city in Sweden and this is a really happening place.. It is kinda like another big city but it is the hip place to be in Sweden with gigs on all the time, street performers and artists, young people running around everywhere just a good place to be.. Now what I am going to say next was just a crazy thing that worked out fantastic for me... When Crazy and I were in Spain we meet a guy from Gothenburg who was really drunk in the hostel and anyway we got talking and when I mentioned that I was going to Sweden he goes ´oh really, well on the 29th Aug (two months away still) I am having a big party and you should come along if your in Gothenburg´ so I got his email and didn´t really think anything of it since even before I had meet him I had booked my ticked to that city in advance and what are the chances.. Well it turned out to be
the same time I was there and what is even more weird the person who was hosted me knows turns out to know the guy that was having the party so she came alng as well. And what a party it was, a really traditional seafood party with 30 people sitting on a roof top watching the sunset over looking Gothenburg. One of thoses nights you will never forget, well maybe the last part I guess.. They were all singing old Swedish songs, wine flying all over the place and the seafood was amazing! At the end of the night there were at least 5kg prawns, 8kg lobsters and a few of the other things what ever they were so we all just stuffed ourself..
Last city in Sweden for a few weeks was Malomo and looking from he ocean you can see Copenhagen on the other side very easily. First day here we went swiming in the Baltic Sea and it was bloody freezing! Compared to Croatia where the last place that I went was, not very nice at all. Had a great night there the first one and my host had freinds over who can sing very
very good so hey had the guitar out singing all old songs drinking away, was really fantastic! It is a really good city as well and plenty to look at, the museum that I went to there would be one of the best I have seen, it was massive and also a museum there we got free wine and food on entry! How good is that!
