Due to fog at Copenhagen airport, my flight was delayed upon arrival. Having been told I would miss my connecting flight to Göteborg I took it upon myself to do the mad dash from one terminal to the other to reach my connecting flight. With only a few seconds until boarding gates closing I raced halfway across the airport (didnt realise how big it was until I started running) and made it second last onto the plane...some little old lady racing behind me! With only an hour flight to Göteborg I think I spent most the time trying to catch my breath. I arrived on time minus my luggage which obviously couldnt run for the connecting plane. No worries as I was happy just to sleep and my luggage arrived the next morning with no problems. Thank-god it happened in sweden!
I have been staying with an friend, Anne and her boyfriend Martin, for the past couple of days. Unfortunately she is not all that well at the moment but I have wandered around town and enjoyed the quiet life for the past days.
Göteborg is a beautiful city, much like the smaller version of Stockholm in image but with a different vibe and an array of different people. The shopping is great, my Ryanair flight back to London is going to cost a small fortune in excess baggage, but I figure if I carry enough hand luggage I should be ok, the plane might not take off (due to all my stuff weighing about the same as a small baby elephant) but I will cross my fingers and wait and see.
I move onto Hälmstad in a few days, to visit Sara and get up to some trouble, just the way we like it....like a wise man once told me....'if you can't be good, be bad. But just becareful!!!'. Such words of advice which I think would be too hard to follow, but I figure it is more like......be bad, just dont get caught!!!
