Info at train station only in form of computer screen. Girls in Pocketbook store tell me where to find the human Tourist Information. It will be the job of that person to help me figure out how to get to Ikea by public transit.
The Info is blocks away. The man there is very helpful and tells me about the free bus to Ikea from that certain spot which he xes on the map. I tell him that the Info place is a bit in an awkward place ... yes he replies...its the politicians who moved us from the train station ... have to write those guys a line or two!!
Free bus leaves a certain spot every hour ... trick is to find out where that spot is!
Have some time to get there. Almost miss the spot but then notice a small crowd waiting and sur enough when I get there an homemade Ikea name has been posted on the pole.

Went to the City Hall after Ikea. Was too late for the last guided tour ...anyway it was in Chinese. Took pics of the outside. That will have to suffice.
Ikea in StockholmThe original store was a circle. The outside square was an addition and makes this a HUGE store.

Lots to EatThe restaurant is almost as big as one floor of the Ikea at Sheppard and Leslie in Toronto.
Food TrolliesPeople load up with $10 to $15 lunches and trundle their trays to tables and counters. Lots of noise because of so many people.
Four Floors of IkeaEscalators, lifts and stairs make the four floors easily accessible. Staying on track is another thing ... the arrows point in one direction but somehow you are going elsewhere.
Lunch!Sweedish meatballs of course. Sure had a lot more meatballs on my plate than in the Toronto Ikea!

Sixteen Cashiers for Busy ShoppersThis woman bought too much to bring back on the bus. Paper bags rustled all thru the bus on the way back. I spent $2 on a small brown horse, lost from the barn set that is for sale.
