Where is the "R" in Spain?

My business trips have recently taken me to various regions in Spain including the Costa Blanca, Costa Del Sol and the Costa Brava, and they all offered a certain charm and individual beauty. Each time I returned to the UK airport, full of enthusiasm and excitement about the resorts I had visited
However the moment I turn the radio on in my car for the drive back home I have the media bombarding me with the “R” word. Did you know that Britain is in a Recession! We are all doomed!
Well correct me if I am wrong, but I believe Spain are in a Recession too and yet they are not force-fed all the negativity that we get, 24 hours a day!
Well done Spain, you too are facing difficult times but unlike the UK, you are just getting on with it, and I for one admiRe you! For those who want a break from our news, press and radio coverage on the “R” word, I would like to highly recommend a trip to Spain!
