so I'm finally up to date with my entries again, I've had a very relaxing last week and a half between Barcelona, and Silvias weekend house up in the beautiful Cadaquez, and now I'm off to France to visit Olivier for a week or so. Silvia and her Family and Dani have all looked after me so well, especially in the food department ;) so it's going to suck having to say goodbye to them tonight and get on an overnight train up to France.
it's been a great couple of weeks though, had my Birthday party last weekend up at Silvias place with heaps of the crew which was really nice, big as feed, amazing birthday cake thanks to Dani(dessert chef), and we also went out for a dance later on. fantastic night! apart from that though I've just been pretty lazy and enjoying learning how to cook good food, and then eating it. Also the girls have been teaching me heaps of Spanish which is awesome because I'm not sure when the next time will be before i get to use it again. The other guys have all cruised off to Italy in a rented car for a

I'm russ, I'm from New Zealand and have developed a love for travelling over the last couple of years. It was the best descision of my life for sure, breaking the routine and heading off to explore the globe, and I would highly recommend getting out there and having a close up look and anything that you've read about or heard about that intrests you, because if it looks cool on TV, I can garuntee you that it'll be even cooler when you are there amoungst it. The Virgin - watcher of the bay
every month they take the staue of the keeper of the bay out for a cruise around the harbour, and all the other boats follow her.
My birthday party
we cooked up a huge feed at Silvias place and got all the happy campers to come around. so much good food and so many good flavours! huge thankyou to Dani and Silvia for everything you made and for having us at your place xxoo
and that is my BIRTHDAY CAKE!!!
It was awesome! Dani promised me last year that if I came to visit them in Spain that she'd bake me a cake, and it was definately worth the trip! que rico!!!!
