I ended up going to the beach! The Valencia beach was so gorgeous with this fine fine sand. The only problem with fine sand is that if there is any wind (which there was) and you're wearing sunscreen (which I was) you end up with a lot of sand on you. I had sand absolutely everywhere! But it was so nice! After that I organized my things for the airplane. I find I need to give myself sometime to go through my things once and awhile just to concentrate them down to one package. Then I just hung out around the hostel because I was still pretty tired. But not tired enough not to go out again. I met the guys from Texas in the hostel common room and we headed off for another night on the town. One bar was soo cool it was in an old pharmacy. Then we went to this lounge that was so similar to lounges back home and hung out, met the people that worked there and met some really nice Belgian girls that also were staying at our hostel. Sure enough, as we left the lounge, the sun was coming up. We stopped in a coffee shop on the way back and hung out there for a while. When we got back to the hostel it was already about 9 am! I said goodbye to my new friends and went up to my room to organize my bags. I guess I sat down for a second and I woke up at it was check out time. So I ran down the stairs with my bags just in time.
I then bought the Oceangrafic ticket and headed over there. It was really cool, but I was soooooo tired! I saw a dolphin show and some of the biggest sea lions I've ever seen! I love that the aquariums here have tiger sharks...so cool! I went and hung around the old quarter for a bit and bought a scarf. After that I grabbed my bags and headed for the airport.
Getting from Valencia to Central London is a chore when you are super duper tired. I got on the plane in valencia (by the way British people love to queue...lol) and got into Stansted at 11:00. I took the 11:30 bus into London and I think I got there at 12:45 when I got a cab to my hostel. The funny thing was that by that time because of my last two nights my body was like 'so now its time to go out'...and I got the biggest surge of energy! I also hadn't eaten anything, so I bought some crisps from the hostel vending machine...what a crazy journey.
Today I am in London. I'm hoping to connect with a friend I met in Nice who is working in London. Other than that I've already done so much of it, that I'm going to take my time and see what there is to see. That reminds me, I should remember my London guide.
I have had such an amazing time. I really don't want to go back! There is so much more to see!
