...and I´m singin´my hobblin´song....I´m just hobblin´along...
Helllloooo!
First I´d like to thank everyone for the healing energy! I felt it all!
So, after I wrote the last time, I went for a little walk around the Albergue and found a couple of nice Irish girls, Betty and Linda. Both from Dublin. They were cousins. Betty has done the Camino many times and knows the author of the book that most people carry to do the Camino. She talks non-stop with that famous Irsh accent (eighteen and tirty four). They were a lot of fun. We were joined by a Canadian couple from Thunder Bay, Iris and Rob. Nice too...everyone is on the Camino, it seems. Anyway, we sat around a table outside all night drinking wine and chatting. At one point, this lovely girl from Sweden sat with us. Eleena...she is 13 years old and a HEALER!! She did some healing on my shin and it started to feel better right away. She was amazing both with her healing work and her attitude about life. I loved her! This girl is going to go far in this world! Then I did some healing on her back for her. It was a wonderful exchange. She has no formal training...she just started doing it on her own and very powerful. I´m sure she´s one of the very first Crystal children.
That night I went to bed and could feel all the healing energy that everyone was sending. I felt tingling all over my body all night. So thanks so much again!
I got up the next morning and walked (hobbled) 12 km to the next town, Urtega. They had a very nice Albergue there that slept about 20 people. On the way, the landscape was up and down, rolling hills with mist around them. You could see those energy windmills lining the horizon. Then we started walking up and up again. I kept looking back as the view was just as beautiful backward as it was forward. I still can´t add photos yet. But I´m trying to get them uploaded to my FB page. I will send the link when I can. Anyway, it didn´t take as long as I thought to get to Urtega, so I spent most of the afternoon napping, hanging around waiting for dinner. At dinner, I met a couple of Canadian women from BC, Lorna and Suzanne, plus Eva from Sweden and Linda from Vancouver and Chicago. Nice evening. Although the Albergue was great, that night sleeping was the loudest room I´ve been in so far...even louder than sleeping with 120 people in Ronsevalles. I don´t know what it was but everybody in that room was snoring and farting all night! ha ha ha!!
Today, I walked to a place called Eunate that has an ancient church that the Knights Templar used to guard. It is octoganal and very interesting. The energy there was amazing I would have spent the night because they have an albergue there too, but it doesn´t have food and I didn´t have any to get me thru the day and the next morning. So I went on thru Obanos and on to Puenta La Reina, which is where I am now. I just got here and wanted to write asap, as soon there will be throngs of people arriving and I probably won´t be able to get on the internet.
As I was walking along the trail to get to Obanos, who do I run into but Franz...the guy that I had to spend 2 days with in Pamplona because he was held up with a shin splint too. It was quite funny because here we were out in the middle of nowhere and run into each other. ha ha...you just never know who you will meet when and where!
Just so you all know, I think my phone is fried...someone sent me a text early this morning but I can´t access it as the screen on my phone is totally blank. So I have no phone numbers and can´t get to anything. But the phone still works so if anyone needs to phone, please do so. I will try to find another one today. So whoever send me the text...sorry but I can´t get to it. You can try to phone or send email, ok
Thanks everyone for all your comments...please keep them coming! I love reading them!!
