Vigo's harbor and The Cies Islands taken from Castro Fortress
The Celtic castro was the city's origin and Galicia's largest Roman necropolis. Vigo, with almost 300,000 inhabitants is the most populated city of Galicia and is placed on one of the most beautiful landscapes in the peninsula.

Last night, Monday the 2nd, I walked to Castro Fortress which is the highest point in Vigo to watch the sun set. It was amazing. From there you can see the entire city and watch the sun fall right into the water directly in between 2 of the islands that are a part of the Cies Islands (home of the best beach in the world according the newsweek). It is only about a 15 minute walk from my house and something I will definitely do again when Mom and Sam come out in 3 weeks!!!
