I needed to drop in a few more photos of my trip around Catalonia on Wednesday and so here is but a small selection
Entry to Torres
This is the start of our tour of the Torres Winery. This high techology set ends with our train coming through the door to the left of the picture.
Inside the cellars
One of the four 500m long tunnels that are filled with the wines of this famous family.
This was not in the brochure!
I had a copy of the brochure with me and I can definetely say it was not. In all seriouness, it was still a great experience to climb to Montserrat
Inside the Basilica
In the late 18th century, almost the entire sanctuary was destroyed during the Napoleonic invasion

By the 9th century, there were four chapels on Montserrat, of which only one remains

Sadly we didn't pick a great day to visit Montserrat however it was still a great experience
Its a long way down!
This was the clearest the panorama was to get in Montserrat as clouds and mist regularly rolled through the hilltop
Houses of Sitges
One of the first great houses of los Americanos built by those who returned from the Spanish colonies of Puerto Rico and Cuba
Hostal Goya
This is the shared living space inside the Hostal Goya. The best place I have stayed in Spain.
Jamon Jamon!
I really cant get enough of this stuff, the greatest ham on earth! (In my humble opinion)
Across the Road from Casa Botllo
Very close to my hostal and to Sonia's house is the famous Casa Botllo designed by Gaudi
Sun setting in Sitges
With the light slowing fading we wandered down through the oldest part of Sitges
Casa Batllo
One of Gaudi's most inspired pieces of work, A tour inside is a must (says someone who didnt tour inside!) Check out the Casa Batllo website for details!
