Hello Friends!
There is much to say, as I have been away from the blog for many weeks.
It has nowbeen over 2 months of living abroad, and though I have had one bout of homesickness yesterday (I saw my kittens over webcam aww), times have been amazing and I have learned much about myself, and what I am capable of, the world and all itīs natural beauty, and just how generous people are. Spaniards, they just give and give.
This entry happened on November 10th, 2008. Rowan and I left France with Chris and Andrew, (two brits who we met at the olive farm) drove us into Spain on their way to the airport. Ok that was more confusing than it should have been.
Anyways. We arrived in Girona, with everything we owned, heavy heavy bags and decided to tour the city, by foot, without being able to check bags at the train station. We walked the old roman walls to the cathedral, containing the worldīs second biggest nave. Truly impressive. We basically could do nothing else but walk until our bus left for L'Escala on the coast in the afternoon.
Here is a collection of some
of our pictures and occurances. Cheers!
