Hola,
All is fantastic here in Barcelona.
School was fabulous yesterday. We listened to a lot of music and learned all about words and phrases for the weather. My homework was to watch the news and figure out the weather for today. Gotta love Summer School in Spain.
We FINALLY made it to the maze park!!! Woohoo! It was really fun. I think the majority of us got out in about 25 minutes. Amanda, the teacher friend that is with us, got way lost and we had to send one of the guys in after her to help lead her to the end. HAHA! It was great. You could hear her screaming "I´m over here! I´m over here!!" But no one knew where "here" was because the bushes were so tall. Once Amanda reached the end, we took lots of group pictures and wandered around all the smaller gardens that were in that park. It was almost like the Secret Garden in Barcelona.
We did not leave the park until 6:30, meaning there was no time for the chocolate museum. Talk about a huge bummer. I hope we can go today or tomorrow sometime.
Dinner with Lupé was a bit of a blur. She was very tired and clearly did not want to spend much time at the table. She was taking our plates the moment we put the last bite of food on the fork. I was trying so hard not to laugh. I think the three course meal was over in less than 20 minutes, clean up and everything. It was good food though. Pasta and salmon with fruit for desert.
Today we are going to the Ramblas to take lots of pictures with the human statues. I am THRILLED. After 4 weeks of watching them, its finally my turn to get my picture made with them. We are also going to ride the sky buckets that go over the port. I think. Depends on if I chicken out or not. Think Six Flags sky buckets only much higher and over water. Who comes up with these ideas???? We are also going to watch the fountain show again. I love that place.
I have my interview with Lupé tonight. I still have not come up with anything to ask her. We shall see what happens.
Home in 2 nights and 3 days,
Love you,
Thanks Mom,
RoSiE
