Decontaminated in Barcelona

Hi, everyone! So, I woke up yesterday after my "fountain incident" and disinfected myself for the millionth time... I spent the morning in the laundry mat and at the fountain with a scrub brush and antibacterial soap and a pile including my shoes, backpack, camera case & jewelry... ick! I think i scrubbed a layer off of everything! So, then I spent some of that time in the internet cafe also... giving you those pictures!

The afternoon was spent hiking Parc Guell... what a beautiful place. Gaudi built and designed it and it was just great!

There was live music in every corner, amazing sculptures and pathways that lead to nowhere just beggin for me to explore them! I was exhausted after my 5 hours spent there. Marie told me that normally her guests spend 2 hours in the park... I knew better! I could have spent 2 days there!

In the evening, I went to the center square and watched the "dancing fountains" and for those of you who have seen the Bellagio fountains... ha!!!! I got ya beat by a million... this shit was amazing! I have video and some pictures that I will get up soon! It was just breathtaking and I stayed there for an hour and a half just watching and shooting and watching and relaxing.

Overall, it was a fabulous day. I was dying for music as I still hadn´t been able to get my iPod working in order to load it.

So... that evening, i was home by midnight or so... I figured it needed a couple good night´s sleep in a row... I woke up early for a BIG DAY today in Barcelona... I actually walked for 13 hours! Took a break here and there to sit and look and then kept going. I saw all the beautiful buildings in the city, walked the main shopping area, went to the market and ate a shit load of fruit,

watched mimes in the square, saw another amazing horn band, listenened to lots of live music, met some cool nice people and sat in the sun... what a great day! I am now sitting in the internet cafe transferring my music to my ipod and IT´S WORKING! awesome! I am so excited! I will have music for my train rides tomorrow! yaaaaaaaaaa hoooooooooooooooo!

So, hope all is well... I am off to Figuras to see the Dali museum tomorrow and will take the night train to Nice tomorrow evening and arrive there the morning of the 20th.
