Hello everyone! You would all be pleased to know Justyn and I are safe and sound in Barcelona. The first day of travel was a tiring one.. After a 7 hour flight then a 6 hour layover, waiting around takes a lot out of you. At least we were able to catch up on some sleep. Our flight to Spain from London only took an hour, and we passed through customs with no issues. We were a little unsure which bus was the one we needed to get to our hostel, so we went with our guts and got on one. Turns out it was the right bus.. But we forgot to get off at our stop and had to back track. Next we had to catch a subway, which we figured out with no issue. Once off of the train we had a short walk to get to the hostel... Which turned into a longer walk once we followed the wrong sant pay street. Not to mention, street signs are pretty scarce around here which does not help the lost tourists like ourselves. After asking for directions, we found are place and were pleased to kick back a little bit. We had a few drinks around town and explored the streets. Our hostel is just down the street from sant Paul's cathedral. We managed to wake up for breakfast, but went back to bed immediately following, we were still pooched from yesterday's travels. Once we woke the second time, we bout subway tickets and decided to explore a different part of town. We went on top of a lookout, where we could see the olympic stadium and the art museum.. So we decided to go there. We took tons of pictures (which will be posted soon). We toured for hours until our stomachs wanted no more to do with it. We bought groceries down the street from our hostel and enjoyed a nice meal of pesto and wine. The rest of our night was spent lounging around with a group of Canadian guys from saskatchewan, who are abroad for 5 months doing the same thing we are. Day three is upon us and time is flying by. Today we are planning whether or not to switch hostels and which bus/train/flight will get us to France the cheapest.. That's all for now, hope everyone at home is doing well! Shout outs to Edward, Sammy and my dad for seeing us off at the airport! Love you guys
