It will be of no great surprise to most of you reading this when I tell you ANOTHER holiday has cropped up..... before New York lol! The week before to be exact. What's a 'SMALL' trip to IBIZA going to matter with Miss Fysh! Flying out 4 June returning 11 June. That gives me precisely 3 days to recover and finalise the packing for the New York flight on Sunday 15th June.
It's like this, we always said we would do it
before we're 30 and who knows when we might get the chance again. With my status at the end of May changing dramatically to 'job less (briefly), homeless (living with parents again) and without car (because it goes back with the job) all I have to hang onto is that
'I have passport and WILL travel' Therefore, the suggestion of a a holiday to Ibiza, once work was finished and I was kicking around doing nothing, had to be given deep consideration, and, who was I to refuse, afterall I cant be sitting around waiting to go, that's just not me lol!
So as always when we travel anywhere together it will be 'shoddy girls on tour'... hopefully she wont try to rush me to the departure gate this time, leaving her luggage behind! See what I mean! Shelly's been already so she knows what she's doing, but I thought a little research on my part wouldn't hurt. Here's the official description:
IBIZA
The Island of Ibiza has been well-known for its summer club parties which attract large numbers of tourists, but the island and the Spanish Tourist Office has been working to shed the prevailing "sex-and-alcohol" image in order to promote more family-oriented tourism.[1] Noted clubs include Space, Pacha, Privilege (ex Ku), Amnesia, DC10, Eden and Es Paradis.[2] It is also home to the 'West End' party district of Sant Antoni, a popular stop for many tourists.[2]
So, yep we're in Central San Antonio, so I'm sure it will be very relaxing and I'm sure I will come home totally energised and ready for a very challenging 3 month placement in the USA - yeah right lol!
This only leaves Friday 13th June free for a leaving night out on the tiles in King's Lynn, so I will get planning something soon.
