lalalala... So the family came to visit me!!!! It was Grandma, Grandpa, and Mom, and it was awesome. I loved having them here, even if they did wear me out. We ate at some great resturants, one not so great one, bought too many souveneirs, and walked more than I can measure. I loved it. It was so cool being able to actually show them everything that I see here in malaga, especially the things that are harder to explain. And I loved playing travel guide. This will probably be a short entry, because they would definitely tell our stories better than I ever could. Some updates: My friend Tiffany is no longer in my Literature class, I am now alone. However, I have found comfort in knowing that the professor is very understanding. I also have my friend Fran who helps me when I don't understand something in class. He's my partner for our group presentation and we met outside of class to put it together. We finished the whole thing even though we kept getting distracted by talking about more interesting things like our travels and Semana Santa plans... I ended up talking to the professor and he agreed to let me write a paper in place of speaking in front of the class. Well, I just had one big weekend. Since this is coming a few days late I might forget some things or this might turn out to be one of those rambling entries. So I apologize for either if they occur. So Morocco, or Marruecos as they say here in Spain, was phenomenal. First, I couldn't have gone with a better group of people. There were six of us altogether, five girls and one lone guy, Jim. HIIIII I am currently in a Hostel in Malaga, Spain!!!! We just had a friend, Nick kill a bug that looked like two QUARTERS big EWWW i don´t know if i was a cockroach or some other bug! Today we went to the bus stop and got on a bus, then we got off the bus at another bus stop in the park. (tinto de verano, look it up) Anyways we went to the cathedral store and then the cathedral which was beautifulllL! After we walked down the street and I saw a museum de Santa Ana so we ended up going in! It was a very nice place with many religious statues to look at and a good bathroom that had toilet paper! Because"futbol" is the most popular sport in Spain and all of Europe, we decided to take a free Sunday afternoon and go to the Malaga futbol game. Malaga is in the secondary league of Spain; it´s like the Greenville Drive (but soccer) of Malaga. The major teams in Spain are Barcelona, Real Madrid, Sevilla, Valencia, etc. Of course the one day we decide to go to the soccer game, the temperature drops to the 40s, the cloud open up, and down pours the rain. Some luck; I mean Malaga hasn´t seen rain in months.....until we got here. None the less, we still had a pretty fun time. Malaga ended up winning 4-1 so the scoring kept the game exciting.
