Slovakia Amazing Scenery Great People

Where to start !! Met Mirka in Vienna and saw U2, fab as ever of course then the train to Poprad where her sisters Boyfriend Marek picked us up and we went to the High Tatras mountains.
Followed by eating and drinking on a grand scale.
To say Slovakians are friendly and generous is an under statement.
To start with you must have a shot to say hello, then to balance the legs, then for many other reasons
finished by one to say good night.
i was wrecked , dont remember anything after trying to say orange juice in Slovakian!!
my glass was never empty and the eating is non stop, as Marek said Slovakians only have one meal a day
from 8am to 8pm !!
Went up to the high tatras with marek up to our knees in snow, cut legs ripped trousers, the works,great adventure!

either side of the high tatras spent 4 days in Mirkas village next to the Polish border surrounded by hills and Forest and right next to Pieny national park

it rained quite a bit but that didnt spoil it at all, tiny village gorgeous scenery, mirks father toke us up to the forest with Nero the crazy dog.went up at night to looking for deer and Boar, great !
had venison, wild boar from the woods, shot by Mirks dad, a real hunter and a great bloke, so friendly
Mirks mum fed us like we were starving, so generous, never eat so much and it was all so good.
the wild boar was amazing !!
Had such a great time, the people were so kind.

gorgeous country , amazing people.cant wait to go back !!
