Letter to the C&MA churches in Pennsylvania, USA.

Dear friends, brothers and sisters in Christ, peace be with you!

I want to sincerely thank you for your participation in the restoration of the Christian Center, "Rainbow"! Two teams from the United States have been with us for three weeks and have worked with us. We worked side by side, used the same tools, ate at the same table, prayed together and sang songs. Thank you very much for these men and women who came from far away America!

First, we worked equally together with our brothers and sisters in America. We communicated well and were able to understand each other! We have seen that we can be closer to each other!

Of course, the work was heavy, much heavier than expected at first! The walls were crooked, and so we had to place on them metal studs, and then drywall onto those studs. After that, all of the drywall was plastered and sanded.

The two teams from the United States have worked all of these three weeks, sacrificially and with zeal! From early morning until late at night every day, the work continued! The dorm in which we were working has completely changed! It is now a modern building, beautiful and comfortable for Christian camps and conferences.

I thank all those who donated money to purchase materials and who gave to pay for the reconstruction of the dormitory roof! Without you, we could not have done any repair work on this building!

In a span of three weeks, this joint team - Russian and American – unfortunately didn’t have the time to do everything that we would have liked to. We bid farewell to our friends from America, but our Russian team will continue to work and restore the rooms in the dormitory here at “Rainbow” camp.

We believe that this year, children will be able to use these beautiful rooms, use the modern toilets, and shower with hot water! It's just great!

We look forward to continuing our partnership with you.

May God bless you!

Sincerely,

Sergei Guts
