Due to the keyboard in France being quite different then what I am used to, I will not be writing much! Here are our highlights from the last few weeks:
Seville, Spain - biggest Catholic Church in the world, famous bullfighting ring, and a Flamenco dancer with the body of an NFL linebacker!
Lagos, Portugal - Nice beaches and lots of partiers, pour hour (a meal and all you can drink within an hour) for less than 10 Euros! Day trip to Sagres for some surfing in cold water!
Lisbon, Portugal - Skinny alleys that turned into night time drinking spots, day trip to Sintra to see a Moorish castle and funky Palace. My Birthday at the Hard Rock Cafe, best Nachos and BBQ Ribs since I left home! Also a more humane version of bullfighting where they only stab the bull and piss him off rather then kill him. The highlight is the end of the fight when a group of guys come out and the leader charges the bull and grabs him by the horns, then the rest of the group runs in and they hold it still while another guy grabs the bull's tail, symbolizing
the cutting off of the tail and the defeat of the bull. It takes gu
Porto, Portugal - Great city full of winding streets and old buildings. Port tasting at Sandeman's Port House, very sweet stuff.
San Sebastian, Spain - Pintxos (hand picked tapas) in every bar, great beaches and good surfing. Walked up a hill for some great views of the city. Day trip to Bilbao for the Guggenheim Museum.
Now we are up in France mingling with all the beautiful people in the French Riviera, had some great wine in the Bordeaux region yesterday and working on our French in Nice today as English is apparently an inferior language!

UPDATE - Hawley and I have booked our flights home! I will fly out of Frankfurt July 26th and Hawley heads home out of Athens on September 19th.
