I started this blog just as I was about to embark on my first solo trip (that was back in May 2008). It was a way to keep in touch with friends and family and more importantly document this special journey. That particular trip definitely broke down barriers for me. It gave me confidence and it truly made me believe that I could do anything I set my mind to. There's a part of me that knew that already but that trip to Thailand really confirmed it for me.
