Katkonainen yöuni. Hotellissa oli runsas aamiainen, jossa oli kyllä paljon väkeä. Aurinkoinen päivä. Jukka meni taidemuseoon; minä kiertelin sen aikaa Lillehammerin keskustassa. Ajettiin katsomaan kirkkoa. Siellä oli esittelijänä eläkkeelle jäänyt mies, joka oli asunut Chilessä ja Uudessa-Seelannissa. Ajettiin katsomaan ulkoilmamuseota, mutta ei jääty sinne, kun ei ollut yhtään vapaata parkkipaikkaa. Ajettiin Hammariin kahville, keskustaan kahvilaan Kajs & Mattis Café. Nuoret miestarjoilijat kantoivat juomat ja leivokset pöytään. Jatkettiin moottoritietä, paitsi että pienehkö pätkä pikkuteitä, jotta vältettiin tietulleja. Autoja tuli paljon vastaan. Osloon oli ennustettu viikonlopuksi sateista ja Keski-Norjaan aurinkoista. Jukka halusi tankata. Puolimatkassa olisi ollut halvempaa polttoainetta kuin Oslon lähellä. Nukuin huonosti. Heräsin klo 5. Kun en saanut unta, menin aamiaiselle klo 6.30. Kävin unessa klo 7 ja klo 8.30 välillä ja menin vielä uudestaan aamiaiselle, jolloin otin myös kahvia. Sade oli alkanut. Vietiin tavarat autoon. Jukka poikkesi Tiimaria muistuttavassa kaupassa, ja yhdessä käytiin viinakaupassa. Mentiin vielä katsomaan suurta kirkkoa. Jukka ajoi koko matkan, reittinä Frösön, Äre. Taukopaikkana oli Storlien ennen rajaa. Viehättävä puukahvila, mutta siellä ei ollut vessaa. Pääsin käymään vessassa viereisessä talossa paikan pitäjän kotona. Norjan puolella pysähdyttiin tankkaamaan. Trondheimissa ajettiin keskustahotelliin, jonka vieressä oli parkkitalo. Auto sinne. Trondheimissa oli niin lämmintä, että vaihdoin sortsit. Löydettiin riittävän kansanomainen olutterassi, ja puhuttiin sekaisin englantia ja skandinaavisia kieliä. This is our last day in Oslo, and the last day of our tour. Fortunately, our final city tour begins at 9:00AM so it gave us time to sleep in, and we were both awake before the alarm went off at 7:30. After heading down to a delicious breakfast, we were ready at the bus at 9:00 to meet our local guide Christina who was great at letting us know all about her native city, Oslo. Oslo is the largest city in Norway at about 700,000 people with a total of 1.1 million people in the greater Oslo area. The city was founded in the 11thcentury, mostly as a trading center, but most of the original buildings were built from wood. It is with a heavy heart that we begin our last day of wandering the fjords of Norway. Without a doubt, it is the most beautiful place we have ever seen on earth. This morning we left at the typical 8:00 with the first stop at a ferry across the fjord just a few minutes away. Since everyone is now fully trained and aboard the bus about 10 minutes early, we were able to arrive at an earlier ferry just as it was about to leave. We drove right onto the ferry as it closed up the ramp and headed for the opposite shore. This was one of the new electric ferries and it was super smooth and quiet.
