Amsterdam here we come!

Well hello there! Ok so i have been really slack with this whole blogging thing but while i have free internet i thought i'd give you all a quick update on what we have been up to and some pictures to!

So as we speak we are sitting in our hostel in Rotterdam. This has been the second best hostel we have stayed at everyone is really nice and we have meet some great people in fact we plan to meet back up with a couple of them when we head to Amsterdam tomorrow. Rotterdam is really great everyone seems to be really laid back which is nice and everyone rides push bikes which is really cool. Today we took the Spido which is an hour long boat ride up the harbour you basicly get to see the whole place from the water. We then went to the euro mast which is a 185 metre tower which you get a great view of Rotterdam from. I think tonight well be very quite as we were out last night till about 3 am watching local band the Apers play, we got to hang out with them and they were really nice guys Sarah even scored a free t-shirt because they knew we were over from Australia!

So moving on.... tomorrow we hit the road again just a short one hour train ride to Amsterdam which were really looking foward to! Anyway because i'm to lazy to write about everywhere we have been from when i last updated this thing i'll just write all the places we have been and the highlights!

Rotterdam

So it's starting to hurt my head all this writing but all the places we have been we have had a great time and you will see it in the photos. Anyway just one funny story before i go, well i mean it's funny now but maybe not so at the time. We booked an overnight bus/ferry trip from dublin to london, total trip time around 12 hours. Anyway after a short bus ride to the ferry we made the crossing which was around 3 hours. When we got back on the bus we decided to try get a better seat as the bus was full the seats we got at the start were right at the back so we jumped into some other seats which had no ones belongings on them. We sat down then two women get on and start wining saying we took there seats so we move but someone has taken our seats. Sarah finds a seat but somehow the bus is now full and i don't have a seat. We work out the bus is over booked because someone missed the bus from the train station so went directly to the ferry. I sit on the floor for a while then we stop for passport control and get off the bus. Bus driver then tells us to go back into our seats we sat in first. We do this when the couple get on and see we are now sitting in there seats the women starts yelling at us and her boyfriend is outside still drunk and banging on the window telling us to get out of there seats. I'm pretty sure the women had no teeth! So we get out again and sarah gets a seat and i get a seat further down the bus next to a 5 year old kid. I sit down and he starts pinching my nose and kicking me (At this stage i'm really looking forward to the next 8 hours) Next on the list of things to go wrong the toilet is broken and its smells really bad and is spreading through the whole bus at this stage i've got my t-shirt over my face it;s that bad. So we get into the bus ride kid falls asleep which is nice so do i for a little while. Forward a few hours to 4:30 am. We are around 4 hours away from london i'm half asleep and the kid next to me is awake because they are getting off at the next stop in around 20 mins time. I then hear the kid start to burp and realise he is going to vomit but being half asleep my reaction time is not quick enough and he vomits all over my leg! I jumped out of my seat and he proceeded to vomit 5 times right in the middle of the bus. To make things just a little worse his mother didn't even say sorry to me but she did have this to say "I hope you guys going all the way onto london don't mind the smell of vomit) Yeah, great thanks for that. Anyway sorry i know it's a long story we ended up making it to london vomit on my jeans and all Fun times!
