We took again a night train towards Amsterdam now more used to the mechanic of sleeping on the train, I've sleep like a baby.
We arrived to Amsterdam Centraal and decide to spent the night after two countries , one problem ,there was not a blody room on any hotel or hostel so after going to a hostel we've found on our guide the owner sent us to his brother hotel, mmmmm anothe experience for the blog after being walking for almost 2 hours with the backpack and asking for directions every five minutes we arrived to this scary "hotel" ; we arrived to a creepy bar (the reception) then this guy showed our room, a filty crappy room with old beds and a mirror with grafitti on it; but at this part of the travel this will not stop us. we head to the city, very nice channels compact nice city with very kind people and bikes and more bikes and more bikes.
The first place we went was (I'll let you guess), and you're right the worlwide famous red light district, one of the most shocking things was not the beautifull, barely pretty and ugly women on the red windows, the shocking part was seeing complete families with children enjoying the landscape, wow looking around and mixing with sex workers, pimps, drugdealers, sexshops, etc. One of the nice things of this ride is discover where you can find this red windows, in the most hidden place on that zone you can find one. So after a while of looking around we decided to enter to a place called "The pink elephant" sorry if I don't remember very well the name of the place, offering "Live Sex Shows", but again families on the queue willing to enter to this show, the evaluation, boring.
Next day we decided to visit Van Gogh museum, eventough I'm not a big paint fan I enjoyed this museum in all moment, the nightlife in amsterdam is very busy, we head to a spot named Dam Square, surrounded by bars and Night Clubs, very nice place to keep you busy some time.
Amsterdam was a breath to our journey of visiting museums and historical places but the train was waiting for us to head us to Belgium.
