Champions Promenade with Ilaria, Alessandro, and Kurt
Day 2 of our trip and we stopped by our 3rd country already. Daddy had never been to this one before and it was a very small country and much smaller than the CITY I live in. This was my 44th country I have been to. Not to bad for a 5 year old, and considering daddy had only been to 3 countries (Mexico and Canada) by the time he was 20, I think I am doing pretty good.

We first walked to a place where they had a lot of famous soccer players feet in the cement called "The Champions Promenade". There were a lot of players from Brasil and Italy, but none from the USA. Daddy is a big soccer fan, and we both had a lot of fun going to the World Cup in South Africa this past summer.

I saw some statues that were made from the same person (Botero) that made my favorite statue in Cartagena, Colombia, the one with the big "Bunda". It was really funny to see in another city. I also saw a statue of a famous Princess, Grace Kelly, who was from the United States.

We stopped by a famous casino (but we did not go inside as daddy said we were not dressed good enough) and then took a taxi to the old part of the town on top of a mountain. We saw soldiers marching in front of a castle next to some cannons. It was really cool. We then walked down the small streets. We bought a race car key chain for my brother, Vitor, as a famous Formula 1 race happens in this city and my brother like car races.

After a good day, we headed back to Nice stopping in 2 beautiful places that I already wrote about. Such a short time in a country, though it was a very small one, only slightly bigger than the smallest one in the world, Vatican City, which I had already been to but dont remember since I was about 3 months old!
