Last buffet breakie today! 😞 And as I got to the waffle maker I see that someone has made wayyyyy more of a mess than I did yest!! And the lil girl was there so i could point out that it wasnt just me that overdid the mixture! we enjoyed our last breakfast and then got dressed for our trip across to gozo for the day. We were gutted cos Karla had got us excited about going to Camino where the blue lagoon was but unfortunately cos it was so windy they werent sending boats across so we settled for a day in gozo and just looked at blue lagoon postcards!! We hopped on the ferry and omg it was so rockywith the wind. Apparantley it was force 8 out of 10! I felt really sick but we went outside and it was only a 30min trip so was fine. We were on a tour so all hopped on the bus and had a tour guide telling us where we were going and what we were seeing but we were all phasing in and out!
We first went to the blue window which was beautiful but so so windy! we
were trying to climb across rocks and so many time almost fell!! There were some massive splashes cos crazy waves! we then went to a lil restuarant on the water with the group and had fresh fish - was actually kinda average but not bad. Saw all the lil wash houses in gozo and went into a few shops around gozo. one of which tried absolutely putrid cheese which made me feel sick for a few hours!! We bought some strawberry wine which looked good at the time.
Took it home and had a sip each in the sun and it was HORRIBLE! the whole thing got thrown out!! Bleugh!! We chilled out on the front steps of our hotel which were the only sheltered sun area for a bit and then got changed and headed out to dinner! Which was where we had dinner the 2nd night but sarah was absolutely craving the pumpkin soup on the menu which she had seen 2 nights ago so there was no option!! Everyones meals were really good except unfortunately bens who just made the wrong choice! I had the best pizza ever! A maltese special! And sarah was satisfied with
her soup! whew 😊
So it was an early night again thonight cos 3 of us had to be up at 4am to fly back to london! Stupid planning by me but initially i thought I was gonna have to work but not the case!
Had a great trip to malta with the girls...and ben :P Disappointing about the wind cos we didnt get any real relaxing time in the sun but still all enjoyed ourselves and would recommend going! 😊
