After a really foggy night in Augustów we went on to Lithuania. Very good sunny weather, autumnal colours everywhere. First stop Kaunas, a beautiful city especially in autumn. Everything is red and yellow, an old city with charm. In Kaunas we went to the museum of devils. A rather humorous place worth visiting. Afterwards we went to the cafe in the cellar of the museum, which was VERY cheap and quite nice..The waiter was pretty funny aswell.
Afterwards we drove towards Trakai when the fog came back!
And even stronger than the day before in Augustów. We were driving around in the cosmos, there could have been crocodiles and elephants around, we wouldn't have seen one.
Without GPS (went off after Poland) or any maps we just drove towards Vilnius and found Trakai without any problem. Once we were in Trakai we couldn't find the castle because we could barely see our own hands in the fog. After a while we found it, but we couldn't really see it..
We were all concentrated not to fall into the lake because we couldn't see where what we were stepping on.
After a walk in the fog of Trakai and a snack we drove to Vilnius hoping the fog would disappear. Well it was better over there, but not much better.
So around 2 oclock in the night we drove towards Siaulai..

Need to go back to Lithuania aswell as Latvia. Vilnius was a cool place and Trakai I've only seen from distance. Would love to take a closer look at it. Great pics!
I don't think I ever visited Kaunas but judging from your pics and your comments it's a place well worht visiting too. And the Museum of Devils haha! Must see that! Only heard of it before but never seen pics from there.
