Well, here I am again, my first post on the blog at the age of 24. What happened since my last post…many things, I had a trip to Siauliai, 200 Km West from Vilnius, I went to Riga to Chair and facilitate the CPS there and I had a party weekend in Vilnius.
Let’s take them one by one and in order. First of all I had a pretty wild weekend for my b-day combined with the “boys and girls party” of AIESEC Vilnius and the goodbye party for Munkeet, one of AIESEC Vilnius trainee. On Friday night we had a small drinking party at my place with Jonas, Mantas, Andrius and Rytis, after that we went out in one of my favorite pubs “Prie Universiteto” and we had some drinks and danced. Later on Jana, Diana and Vija joined us for some time. The 2nd day I discovered that Mantas and Jonas were trying to get me drunk by mixing vodka in my beer, I drank the beer but I was not drunk. The 2nd day we had the boys and girls party where boys party in one secret place and girls party in another secret place, and
they have fun in “male” or “girl” style. The boys party was at my place and we had beers and fun games for a few hours, we watched the football game and we discovered where the girls are….and went there. In Milda’s place the girls were having a wild party and we joined it. It was fun to discover that the girls have our pictures on the wall…check the pictures. The night ended at 4 AM with a long and cold walk home. Well I have to mention that I received 3 impressive presents from my friends here. First it was a hammer from the MC team to build my future with it, and after that I received a “beer drinker”…and I had to test it and at the end of the night I received a very nice t-shirt from the EB of AIESEC in Vilnius, on the t-shirt they wrote my Lithuanian name “Cheminis Moldukas” and “LC Vilnius Little friend”. Cheminis means Chemical and Moldukas is the Lithuanian version of Moldoveanu.
Passing on to the next story of this Entry, we went to Siauliai and we had time to go to the Hill of crosses, here in
Lithuania, the pictures are made during the night and they look strange. Hill of crosses is a small hill with a huge concentration of crosses, there is no grave there but there are a few millions of crosses. It is a sort of holly place for all Lithuanians. It was a very strange thing to do, smile in front of the crosses and take pictures of myself, I felt so strange….
And about the last part of my post. Last weekend I went to Riga to help Anca with the Cultural preparation seminar of AIESEC in Latvia. It was one of the most impressive CPSs for me, because the trainees of AIESEC Riga were there and also the future trainees and because all the EPs were girls….don’t laugh, it is hard to concentrate and eliminate the word “guys” from vocabulary. More important was the way how a cultural project designed to solve problems in between Russian and Latvian people started to build bridges in between Turkey and Armenia. I also had the chance to talk to Anca and to get to know each other better as so far our meetings were during conferences were we had our hands full
with work.
I guess this is it for now, reading the post again I realized that I am loosing my journalist skills and I am not putting that much emotions into my writings… I guess I will have to work on that
