We stayed at a Florence caravan park after looking out over the great view of the city from the lookout near where we were staying. It was incredible. Beyond words... Amazing, shocking, incredible, words cannot describe it. It came to night and we took a stroll around the city among the lights, people, and excitement. It was a very colorful trip. We saw the 4th biggest cathedral in the world. It was... BIG!
The next day, we headed toward Venice on a rainy day, something we hadn't seen in a long time, and stayed at Camping Rialto Camping Grounds and headed into the city the next day.
We explored on foot through the majestic city. There were mask shops everywhere, as Venice is popular for that sort of drama. There were way too many bridges to count. The tourists were all there. Aussies, Americans, Englishmen, the sort. There were gondola rides that we ended up doing through the canals and such. It was quiet through those, until we got off at the main docks. After a long day, we caught a boat taxi and a bus back to the R.V.
