Farewell venice

We have now boarded the Ruby Princess yesterday amid horrid weather! The san marco area was flooded again which made it awkward to board our ferry to the ship, but eventually cold and wet we finally checked in. We were upgraded and got an outside cabin.

Today we have ventured out for one last walk around this amazing city.We have concentrated inthe Dorsoduro area which is opposite the main part of venice. Currentlh we are in a bar - Deb wihnan americano (drink!) and i have a spritzer - as you do!!!!

We will head back to the ship for our departure from Venice - many memorable moments, enjoyable commeraderie for my birhday dinner- one that will take a lot to beat. Have enjoyed staying here for 6 days...any less would not do at all..
