Valentine’s day in Venice
It is carnival time in Venice, everyone dresses up and wears masks. We got up early and had bfast then got the train to Venice not everyone on our stop got on the train as it was so full and almost no one got on at the 5 stops after ours I am so glad that we got up early to get the train. When we got to Venice there were 1000’s of people at the station and all over Venice. Lots dressed in costume and masks. I got a mask so that I could join in the fun. We had a good look around Venice and got a gelato. We saw lots of shows in the street then got the ferry back tough the canals back to the station and got the train back to the car we then drove to Treste on the border with Slovenia.
