As we woke up and were getting ready for a day of boarding we looked at the window and were trying to figure out why it was so dark out. Turns out it was snowing, talk about a great start to the day and week! Once we were finally all ready and got some breakfast we headed to the ski pass place to buy our lift tickets and then over to the rental place to get some boards. The ski pass were very unique, they ran off a scanner, very clever indeed.
While on the mountain (http://www.dolomitisuperski.com/en-US/ski-holidays-11EN.html) we took a bunch of pictures of the views, of me boarding and of Crystal sitting taking her infamous self portraits. I also managed to get some video footage of her boarding down the sloope. After we spent the day boarding and returned our gear we headed back to the hotel and came across a neat monument so snapped a pic of it. Its hard to tell the whole premise of it due to being buried in snow, but we got as much as we could. We also got a pic of the little gelato bar across from the hotel.
After we
relaxed a bit and participated in our second four course meal of the week we embarked up the mountain to elevation of approximately 7,000 feet for a gala that was thrown by the FSC (florida ski council). the restaurant on the mountain was very rustic and had soem interesting decorations. Finger foods were provided, drinks were flowing and a deejay was spinning some 70's and 80's music. there was alot of happy people dancing around. We ended up calling it a night and wanted to head back to the hotel but we needed 30 people to get the gondola to go down. luckily others had the same idea as us, due to the very early departure time we had the next morning to tour Innsbruck Austria.
