Highlight(s)

• Christmas menu:
  - bread with home made spreads
  - spaghetti with anchovies
  - giant ravioli with ricotta and spinach in butter and sage
  - giant ravioli with ricotta and spinach with ragu
  - roast pork in gravy with herbs (awesome)
  - roast potatoes with olive oil and rosemary
  - salad (mixed lettuce)
  - Christmas Pudding
  - Biscuits and cakes
  - Coffee
  - Grappa.
  
• Mum's Christmas Pudding
  
• Spotting a Cinghiale (Wild Boar) foraging by the side of the road on the way back from Saturnia. Mmmmmm ..... Cinghiale.
  

Odd Spot(s)

• They really don't like wearing seatbelts - to the point that they just drive along with the seatbelt alarm beeping incessantly. The alarm was annoying us - so we used a good old fashioned Sydney Taxi driver trick and ran their seatbelts around the back of the seat and plugged them in to stop the alarm.

Saturnia - Hot Springs
We took a drive to check out the natural hot springs at Saturnia - about 20 mins from Pitiglino.

Foggy Vision
Even though the windows were fogged up - Lucciana still took off through the town at 80ks an hour after our visit to Saturnia.

Christmas Pudding
Mum's Christmas Pudding travelled all the way from Melbourne. Cousins Sauro and Lucciana and Uncle Sergio look on in amazement - or maybe it's fear - as the Brandy is ignighted.
