Contact lost!! Alert all agents. RVB possibly captured by double agents
Last contact with Arvey Bee was a few days ago now. At this stage his mission was to deliver a message to our longstanding German connection on behalf of agent Freda, but contact was lost and not re-established before a number of significant control events.
At last contact, agent indicated intention to go SOUTH - destination unstated due to security complications. Immediate mission is to deliver (or mail) message on behalf of agent Freda.
Possible choice of destinations immediately south if Berlin:
* Dresden - Germany
* Graz - Switzerland
* Palermo - Sicily
Has Arvey been captured by the COSA NOSTRA or has he come to a sticky end while cycling through the Swiss Alps.
Concern mounts at headquarters - other agents are contacted , including Will lawyer, to check if this is just a glitch in the communications network - or if there is a serious problem.
