Who needs sleep?

A nice, relaxing dinner of coda alla vaccinaraand a bottle of red. Good conversation, good friends, and incredible food. I was imagining an early, well early for Italy, evening. Dinner was over at 11:30pm, and we started to head home. That's when the sms came through, and my friend said "I'm heading to the pub down the street after work." Need I say more? Hey, my excuse is I haven't seen my friend Alessandro in a year...ok, I did want more wine, too!

So, we headed to the pub for one drink, which surprisingly only turned into two. Now I figured I'd be in bed at 2am, which isn't too bad considering. But, Maggie got a case of the travel bug. Suddenly it was "Let's go to Florence, and Venice, and Milan. Oh, and the coast!" The excitement was bubbling over, and so 3 hours later we were still searching online for cities to visit. Suddenly it's 6am, we've got itineraries scribbled on post-its, and we're high on life! Most importantly, we've booked a fabulous day trip to Capri!
