Ciao!
So Jenn and I are starting our 3rd day here in Rome and we absolutely love it. The city is pretty big but we have enjoyed walking around and just randomly running into cute churches and ruins. We have done so much here it feels like and yet there is so much more we could do if we had more time. Everyone who said 3 days wasnt enough was exactly right but we feel like we have done a lot in the time we had.
We started off at the Colleseum which was crazy. It was bigger then i ever could have imagined. We then headed over to the Forum and i was really amazed by how much is still intact. We also made it to the Vatican and saw John Paul II's tomb which was really moving. We tried to find Paul VI's tomb and we think we did but we arent really sure. St Peter's Basillica was massive! Of course my camera died right when we got there so I didnt really get any pictures but I leave the pictures up to Jenn most of the time anyway.
Our hostel is tons of fun. It
has a bar and everyone who works there hangs out with the guests. We don't really go out at night bc we are too busy hanging out with everyone at the hostel. We met some Americans from LA and 2 German guys who we may meet up with in Amsterdam. It feels like everyone knows each other here.
Our roommates are Irish and are stuck here 2 extra days bc someone stole their passport on the metro.
Today I almost got pickpocketed! I felt something tug on my backpack and sure enough a little kid had his hand inside and was pulling out my camera. I caught him in time though and he didn't get anything but it was a bit scary.
Anyway thats pretty much it. We did a lot more stuff that i didn't mention but to be honest i'm too lazy to type it all out and the internet is expensive here. Hope everyone is doing well, we miss everyone!
