We set out early and decided to stop in Ros Mare for breakfast. We ordered two traditional Irish breakfasts and the disappointment in Kevin’s face when he found out that black and white pudding was not the Jell-O pudding that he was used to was truly priceless. From there we headed to Waterford and took their factory tour. It was very interesting and the skill and time that it takes to make each piece was amazing. From there we drove on to Blarney. We walked through the castle and grounds and even kissed the stone despite the rumors we had heard about it. We had a great lunch in a pub in the center of town and had a lot of fun just people watching while we enjoyed our meal. We had made a reservation at the Sheraton golf resort on Fota Island which was our next stop. We checked in and tried to set a tee time for Kev the next day but he made the mistake of asking them about metal spikes and found out that they wouldn't let him play with real golf shoes. Since he didn't bring his with him his only options were to buy a
new $150 pair from the pro shop or not play. He choose the latter and we decided to spend the rest of the afternoon in Cobh which was the town that was the last stop for the Titanic before it sunk. We walked along the water for awhile before going back to our hotel for dinner. After dinner we met a few Dubliners that had come to Fota Island for a quick holiday. We had a great time hanging out with them and getting suggestions of places we should go to next. The next there we decided to go on to Killarney and the Ring of Kerry. Unfortunately it rained all day and the views on the drive weren't as nice as we would have liked. We had lunch in Kenmare and then found a cute B&B in Killarney to spend the night in. Once we got there we decided to walk around the town and visit a few pubs before calling it a night.
