Early (and long) day today, first day of competition.
It looks like Taelyr has made it through to the second round in all 3 events today. There are some pretty complicated calculations that come into play so at this point we are making an 'educated guess'. In the Solo routine, she needed to finish in the top 10 of 54 girls, which is pretty impressive. In 2 baton I think it was more like 24 girls, and in her 3 baton routine, there is only herself and one other girl competing at that level. So the good news is that she will come home with a medal in the 3 baton discipline ;)
The second round, and the group events are tomorrow.
They don't allow any photography, but I did sneak a couple of the processional. Forgive the quality as we were quite high up and I didn't use the flash so to not give myself away.
UPDATE:
Taelyr finished 4th in the preliminary rounds for both Solo and 2-Baton. In 3 baton, since there are only two girls in it, they gave her a bye to the final tomorrow. We are pretty excited.
I'm
not sure how much more I'll be able to update, since Sacha and Taelyr are out of the dorms tomorrow (where the internet link is) and are moving to the B&B with us, which does not have access. I'll see what I can do.

Hi from Auntie and the little ones. We were looking at the pictures, Noah wants to go in the castle, or ride on it! We got back from camping last night and I had to check out your trip. We had fun except Avery was in the hospital emergency again, this time a fish hook in her finger, she's accident prone!
We are all cheering for you Tae!
Love Auntie and the little Redgwell's
