... (con't from last blog)
So, we arrived to the aftermaths of some pretty bad flooding, but to lost of smiling faces! It was being held at the Celbridge GAA pitch and it has been done up so nicely!
Cool thing... brought my flash with me and was totally in my element. LOVE these picts as it totally captures the moods, movement, laughter, etc.! Yay! What a blast and happy happy happy birthday to Sean and Gearoid! Glad I could be there to celebrate!
The next morning we awoke in our B&B in quite rare form, but Mir and Elaine and I rolled out of bed at to the table for breakfast. Oh my goodness... I am glad there was no one watchin' as we were in pretty hysterical form!
And then back to bed, and then out of bed and onto the grass of this BEAUTIFUL garden! What a B&B this was!
Then we returned back to the GAA field which was flooded. It just looked so awesome and so I rolled my pants up and started walking in the water and grass. AWESOME. Sean and Miriam joined me, we took loads of pictures, found
a pet frog that Sean fell in love with and just had a great ol' time there for a couple hours. Then, back to the boys' house for a bit of a snack, out to an amazing lunch and back home to Galway!
Arrived home and Elaine and I were SO TIRED that we were just cranky and didn't know what to do. She picked up the paper at 8:20 and said "Sex in the city movie starts in 10 minutes. Let's go in our pajamas!" We were out the door in 2 minutes and arrived to couches in the movie theater! No joke... they call it a luxury theater... it was so awesome. We at Ben & Jerry's and popcorn and laughed and cried and had a fun ol' girls night out!
The next day I went to town on Elaine's room. Gosh I wish I would have taken before and after pictures. She has been moving so much that she has never unpacked! Haaaa... I had NO IDEA what I was gettin' myself into! It was an all day, but rewarding, job and it made her so happy to come home to!
We went to
Tesco to get some food for a movie night in with Ailish (Elaine's flat-mate) but Elaine got sick in Tesco and we had to rush home. She caught something so... leave it to Elaine to make a grand entrance on her 30th birthday... Happy Birthday to youuuuuuuuuhhhbbbbbbllllllaaaaahhhhhh ELAINE! Haaaa. Anywho... she managed to have the day off on her special day so at least she can rest it off. Feel better you!
Anywho... I'm off to Kilrush for a festival tomorrow and then right to the All Ireland the following week. Can't wait!
