Greetings from Galway

This morning I took a double-decker bus tour of Old Galway, which was
interesting because the tour guide said he hadn't actually made it home the
night before. It made his commentary quite funny. After the tour, I wandered
around some of the older parts by foot.

I'm hoping to head to Letterfrack tomorrow for three nights, to explore
Connemara National Park and Kylemore Abbey. I haven't booked the hostel yet--
I've been hoping to hear from them via email, but I may have to break down and
use the phone (I've been trying to avoid it, just to see how long I can go
without phoning anywhere)to confirm things.

The weather the last two days has been alternating between hot sun and cold
rain--the sun seems to last for about an hour or so, then it rains for 20
minutes... I heard one of the locals call it a mixed forcast. Despite the
rain though, I've managed to get a sunburn!
