Well... There hasn't been too much to update ya on, but I will give ya a bit anyway! (This entry is up about 4 days late... there will be another this evening).
I returned back from the Fleadh and just crashed. Totally exhausted. We had a good night out here in Galway and from that point on I've just been sleeping and resting. For the first time in my life I was bored for a couple days. Now, bored for me... let's see... most of you know me well and know that I am someone who goes from dawn until late at night. So, when I actually found myself with NOTHING to do, I was a bit at a loss.
Yes, I learned tunes and, at the suggestion of a friend, I went out and took some pictures (a few you'll see here), but still, there was nothing pressing. So, weirdly enough, I started to make lists of things that I wanted to do and I snapped back into me. With the lists, at least I had something to think about and now, for two days, I've found myself busy, yet relaxing. I spent the day on the beach
today and then took LONG walks through the city, started shopping for food for the weekend and next week and had a pretty good purpose!
Now is the time when I'm starting to figure out what I'm doing. So... here are the plans so far.
This weekend (Septe 5-7) is Elaine's HUGE 30th birthday party in Doolin. We're callin' it Festival d"Elaine! It's going to be amazing with loads of musicians coming from all over to just play for 3 days and have fun with each other. I seriously can't wait.
Will return back from that on Monday and then on Wednesday I am heading to the north to work on an Organic Farm!
I am so excited to be active and working and doing something I can hardly wait.
Here is the farm... have a look!
Orchard Farm I will have broadband there and so skype and email will be available!
After the farm, I will come back to Ireland for the Banjo festival in Longford... I've wanted for years to be at this festival! Yay!
After Longford I will return to Galway to pack up and the plan, at
the moment, is to head to New Zealand. I hope to get there and work and save some money... as money is running lower and lower as we speak!
So... really excited to begin the next part of this adventure.
Keep in touch all! I love gettin' emails!
smiles, Jess
