International Karaoke NightThis is my Italian roommate (Fede). She was the first one to do karaoke...she did Bon Jovi, "Living on a Prayer"
(you'd like her Sheryl) :)
Meet my friends!
Hey guys!
Sorry it's been a little while since my last post, but needless to say I've been super busy and having LOTS of fun! This post will have some pictures of my new friends and my most recent new experiment...cooking! After lots of phone calls to my mom I finally figured out how to make a pretty good stir fry (I didn't know how to cook the chicken) AND I put together some homemade tacos for my roommates. Believe it or not everything actually turned out great (just ask Fede, she liked it!).
Well, I feel MUCH better now...I know Mea was a little worried!

The student health center gave me some free antibiotics, eye drops, and ear drops. Isn't social health care wonderful? Also, I don't know if you guys have heard anything about the primary elections or not (sarcasm), but I just voted the other day here in Galway! The American Embassy rolled into town from Dublin and over 800 Americans showed up to vote. This is the first time EVER that the American Embassy has actually traveled around Ireland to give Americans the opportunity to vote for

the primaries. Apparently, they normally hold primary elections only in Dublin, but this year the primaries are so huge that they traveled to all major Irish cities. The Irish are very interested in this years primary electrions also, and the general consensus is Barack Obama for US President (apparently Barack has some Irish ancestors). It's too bad we can't allow the Irish to have votes in the US general elections...they don't seem to even know that there are any Republican candidates! Side note: check out this blog on Barack's Irish heritage....it's kind of interesting AND there's a cute "O'bama" pin!
Irish Obama That's all for now guys, hope to get some comments from ya soon. Cheers!
Stir fry!Notice my cell phone near the wok...I had to call my Mom and ask her how to cook the chicken... :)
The haircutOk, I cut off all my hair! Here's the new look...not my favorite, but it's a lot easier to fit under a hood when it's raining!
