I've finally arrived.
I got maybe 4 hours of sleep on the flight. When I sat down, I had the middle row of 4 to myself. But then soon after take-off, some lady put her 8ish year old son to sleep in the 2 seats on the other end, so I had to manage to get comfy (ei. cramped) in 2 seats to try to sleep. I was exhausted at that point from walking around NYC all day and I don't have anywhere to sleep here in Dublin, so I really had to manage to get some sleep on the plane.
In a couple of hours, I'm going to hop on a train to Tralee (West coast), stay the night there, and then head to Dingle (Peninsula) tomorrow morning. I'm spending about 3 days in Dingle before I head to Cork and then back to Dublin for my last day and a half.
As for New York, I wondered around the city for about 4-5 hours. Figured my way around the Subway system. I checked out Ground Zero... not much to see, just a lot of construction. I then walked to Trinity Church a couple blocks away where people were having their lunch among the grave stones. From there I went to the Frick Collection which was fabulous... Turner, Goya, Velasquez, Rembrandt, and there was a room with 4 massive Fragonard paintings (probably about 10-12 feet tall) on the walls. Then, just a block away was Central Park where I laid down and slipped my shoes off to rest my feet... which were killing me at that point. After that, it was back to the hostel to pick up my big bag and then to the airport.
And now I'm in an internet and bag storage place, so I'm going to go leave my bag with them and wonder :)

All of the art you saw in New York sounds wonderful. There's nothing like actually being in the same room with works like that to drive home how beautiful they truly are. Have tons of fun in Ireland!
So I totally had a twenty dollar bill in my pocket to give you when you were here for your trip, but I totally forgot. Is there any way I can get the money to you? It's not much, but I want to help your trip of awesomeness!
Yay Gilly!! I hope you have alot of fun in Ireland, I want to go there so bad. I hope you get more sleep.
I'm glad that you finally made it. Sorry for all of the crazyness with that beginning, but at least you made it!!! Hope that things are beautiful and you are starting to enjoy yourself!
And I signed up for couch surfing. It is impossible to search for anyone on there, so you need to find me somehow and friend me because I can't figure it out, haha.
Love you babe!!!!
