Hello ALL!!!
Well tonight is my last night in Cork. Yesterday we traveled to St. Charles Fort in Kinsale. It was pretty interesting to see how they had built the fort to protect the town. We had too much time in the town, which didn't really have a lot to do. A couple of us, found a park and took a nap. I even got a little color, it was nice to just relax and get some sun. Cork has been fun, but the city isn't a little dirty. There is a nice shopping area, it is about a 20 minute walk from the hostel we are staying in. Everything else is going well. The movie the other night, Sex and the City, was so good. It made me feel like I was back home. Then when I walked out of the theater I realized I was in Ireland, it was kinda a weird feeling.
Today we went to the Jameson Distilery, the tour was very informative. We even got a whole drink at the end of the tour. I mixed by whiskey with Cranberry juice and to my surprise it was pretty good. We then ate lunch and had a tour of the city. The city actually when of the cities the Titanic stopped at, FYI
Tomorrow we are heading back to Dublin for are last three nights. I can't believe this trip in coming to an end. It has gone by way too fast, but I have been able to experience alot.
One things I have noticed about Ireland, the ketchup tastes so different. It is much sweeter, just a little fact for you all.
I will be in touch, take care!!! HAPPY HUMP DAY!
Love and miss you all
KEL

Glad you are having a great time. What is the temperature like, 70's - 80's. How is the money holding out, keep track of where you want to go back to for the August visit, I think if you find a great place to stay you should book it for us.
We're having a meeting Sunday morning with the ladies as to where we would like to go and what to see. We are hoping to use all public transportation. You saw the ring in fog and Stephen and I saw it in a downpour. Looking forward to checking it out in sunshine. And we never had a problem tipping a bartender.
Take care, be careful, spend some money on yourself. I am enjoying reading the blog..learn to use spell check!!!
Love you
Aunt M
