Kleifarvatn
The lake that started to leak some years ago.
Good day. Or so we thought. Well, it has been excellent. We went to Kleifarvatn, the lake that started leaking years ago after serious earthquakes. After that to Seltun, the geothermal area that exploded some years ago. The new road we drove is excellent and the view to both Hekla and Eyjafjalla - impossible to pronounce - glacier was simply amazing. A short introduction of a little town of hot-springs, a visit to a geothermal powerplant, into the longest fjord of the southwestern part and to our hotel, beautiful but then one thing was wrong! One bag missing . . . Phone calls to fix that. Finally fixed and lovely dinner. Paul's birthday today and Heinz and Inger's wedding anniversary too! What a nice end of a good day.
