Akureyri with the Utah group

Always good to come to Akureyri. We drove from Stykkisholmur this morning. A bit of a wind on the way - well, some say there is no wind, just that the calmness is in a bit of a hurry. No arguing about that.

Short stops on the way, first to see over the Berserk Lavafield. What a story behind that place. Then over to the waterfall called 'the speedy' (just think of Speedy Gonsalez'😉.

We wanted to be early in Akureyri so my tourists could enjoy this lovely, clean town with all its interesting sites. Did that and the town showed its beauty with sparkling sun and to my great surprise I met two good friends in the main street as I got out of the hotel.

We leave Akureyri tomorrow for more sights.
