We left Slovenia driving through Austria into Hungary. It was a pretty long day, arriving on the shores of Lake Balaton in Hungry a very beautiful lake were tourists flock to. We decided to go for a hotel break and found a great one on the shores of the Lake. We enjoyed a night of pampering, spa, sauna, pool and a room slightly bigger than that of the camper with a bathroom attached. The Balaton lake is the most greather lake of Europe . After arriving in another new city late on a Saturday afternoon, it was decided that Sunday would be put aside for sightseeing. As luck would have it, Sunday also turned out to be St. Stephens Day, a big national festival here in Hungary. St. Stephen was the first king of Hungary ruling from 997-1038. After the 3 hour bus ride into Budapest, we quickly made our way to Deli Pu. which was our train station. Having some time to kill and it being dinner time, we quickly ran across the road to order a take away pizza for the journey.
